Business Development Executive Job Centum Nairobi, Kenya
Key Accountabilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow Tier Data’s customer base and revenue.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, digital channels, events and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Engage clients to understand their business needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, product demonstrations, proposals and quotations.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and negotiation to contract closure and handover.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive retention and long-term business growth.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling while providing market and customer insights to support business development.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, account management or a similar role.
- Proven ability to generate leads, build sales pipelines and achieve sales targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Experience selling technology solutions, such as software, IT services, cloud solutions or ICT infrastructure, will be an added advantage.
