The International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) Africa is seeking to appoint a young tech-savvy Board Member with expertise in data analytics, artificial intelligence and innovation.

With physical presence in Kenya and Uganda, ICRW Africa advances rights and opportunities for women and girls across more than 25 African countries, driving impact in:

  • Economic opportunity and security.
  • Health and sexual and reproductive rights.
  • Equitable social norms and power dynamics.
  • Climate action.

As a Board Member, you will:

  • Provide governance and fiduciary oversight.
  • Champion youth engagement and inclusion.
  • Provide strategic oversight on data governance and ethical technology adoption, ensuring evidence and emerging technologies inform organizational priorities and accountability.
  • Advise on digital transformation and innovation.
  • Act as an ambassador for ICRW Africa’s mission.

Commitment:

Minimum of four (4) Board meetings annually (virtual/in-person). Initial three-year term, renewable once. Non-remunerated; reasonable expenses covered per policy.
