Assistant Office Administrator III Job KeNHA

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for administrative and secretarial services, smooth operation of office activities and serves as the point of linkage between the Authority and stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Typing routine correspondences;
  • Managing correspondence (e-mails and letters)
  • Handling telephone calls and customers;
  • Scheduling and facilitating meetings;
  • Operating office equipment and ensuring security of office equipment, documents and records;
  • Making arrangements for departmental travel;
  • Attending to visitors and clients;
  • Handling appointments;
  • Handling office Petty Cash

Job Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council

OR

  • Business Education Single and Grade Certificate (BES & GC) from the Kenya National Examinations Council in the following subjects:-
    • Shorthand III (minimum 80 w.p.m.),
    • Computerized Document Processing III (50 w.p.m.),
    • Office Management III/Office Administration and Management III,
    • Business English III/Communications II,
    • Secretarial Duties II,
    • Office Practice II, and
    • Commerce II.
    • Proficiency in computer application.

  • Kenya Revenue Authority Tax Compliance Certificate
  • Higher Education Loans Board Clearance Certificate or proof of ongoing repayments
  • Certificate of Good Conduct issued by National Police Service
  • Certificate of Clearance from the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

The above documents will not be required at the point of application.
