Accountant Job ODPP

The Accountant supports financial management functions within the Office by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in financial reporting and supporting compliance with public sector financial management regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating accounting records and financial documentation
- Assisting in preparation of financial statements and financial reports
- Supporting the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets
- Verifying financial transactions and ensuring proper documentation of expenditures
- Processing financial documents including vouchers and payment records
- Assisting in reconciliation of financial records and accounts
- Supporting financial reporting and internal control processes
- Ensuring compliance with applicable financial management regulations
