Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, CPA K or related field
- 4 years accounting experience prefferably in construction & Real Estate
- Maintain daily accounting records
- Process invoices, LPOs, payments & receipts for contractors & suppliers
- Track project costs, budgets and expenditures.
- Prepare and submit VAT reconciliations & ensure comppliance with tax regulations
- (VAT, withholding Tax, PAYE support).
- Ensure timely filing of statutory taxes.
- Support internal & external audits by preparing required documentation
- Reconcile bank statements, project accounts & petty cash
- Prepare financial reports, project cost summaries & monthly management reports.
- Maintain organized financial records for audits & compliance checks.
- Assist with accounts payable & receivable functions
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers and auditors to ensure accuracy & timely reporting.
- Experience in project cost tracking, tax compliance and audit support is and added advantage
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Practical understanding of VAT, WHT and general tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software ( Quickbooks, sage, Tally) and MS office
- Strong analytical, reporting and documentation skills
- Excellent ccuracy, attention to details and time management
