Lecturers – ICT Job RCMRD
IT Jobs, RCMRD Jobs. Responsible for teaching and mentoring students in geospatial and related programmes, preparing learning materials, conducting practical training, assessing students, supervising projects, supporting research activities, and contributing to curriculum development and academic programmes. Requires a relevant Master’s degree or higher in area of interest with relevant teaching or industry experience. The positions are based in Nairobi and require on-site work.
Qualifications
- Applicants should hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science and Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Cloud Computing, Business Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Web and Mobile Application Development, or any other relevant field.
Professional Experience
- Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional and/or industry experience in ICT, software development, data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, networking, cloud computing, systems administration, digital technologies, or a related discipline.
Professional Qualifications and Skills
Professional certification and demonstrated competency in areas including the following will be highly desirable:
- Data Engineering, Data Science and Data Analytics
- Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Generative AI
- Cloud Computing and Software Engineering
- DevOps and Systems Administration
- Networking and Cybersecurity
- Digital Forensics and Database Administration
- Full-Stack and Mobile Application Development
- Game Development, Graphic Design, Animation and Video Production
