Housekeeping Operations

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established hotel standards and procedures.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish room amenities and supplies.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas.
  • Ensure all rooms are inspected and ready for guest occupancy within designated timelines.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items to the relevant department promptly.

Hygiene and Safety Compliance

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation at all times.
  • Follow health, safety, and housekeeping protocols and procedures.
  • Properly handle cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Guest Service

  • Respond courteously and promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping services.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with guests.
  • Support efforts to provide a comfortable and pleasant guest experience.

Inventory and Supplies Management

  • Monitor housekeeping supplies and report replenishment needs.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
  • Assist in stock control and inventory management of housekeeping materials.

General Duties

  • Assist with cleaning public areas when required.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in housekeeping, room stewardship, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Certificate in Housekeeping, Hospitality, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Experience working in hotels, lodges, camps, or hospitality establishments is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to maintain high hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform housekeeping duties for extended periods
