Looking for an HR job in Kenya? ARC Ride is recruiting an HR Intern in Nairobi. It requires support in recruitment, employee records maintenance, and general HR operations.

Reports To: HR and Operations Officer About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, performance management, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and passionate about building a career in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process by screening applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with onboarding and oboarding processes, including preparing documentation and maintaining employee records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files and databases.
  • Support the administration of employee documentation, including contracts, letters, and other HR correspondence.
  • Assist in coordinating employee engagement initiatives, training sessions, and company events.
  • Help track leave records, attendance, and other HR metrics.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as required.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
  • Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the HR team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or currently pursuing the final year of study.
  • Previous internship or administrative experience is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
