Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in billing within a hospital or healthcare setting
- Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Health Records / Health Information Management
- Strong knowledge of hospital billing systems, insurance processing, and revenue cycle management
- Experience handling both inpatient and outpatient billing
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in hospital management systems (HMS) will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process patient bills accurately and efficiently
- Verify insurance eligibility and process claims
- Reconcile daily billing, receipts, and collections
- Follow up on outstanding payments and arrears
- Maintain accurate billing records and reports
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and financial procedures
