Web Manager Job (50K)
IT Jobs. Brites Management Jobs. Looking for an IT job in Kenya? Brites Management is recruiting a Web Manager position for a client. The salary for the role is Ksh 50,000 monthly. Proficiency in website management, WordPress, and graphic design is required.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management
- Manage and maintain the company website to ensure optimal performance, security, and functionality.
- Regularly update website content, images, banners, products, and company information.
- Monitor website performance, identify issues, and implement timely solutions.
- Perform regular backups, plugin updates, and website maintenance.
- Ensure website compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Optimize website speed, SEO, and user experience.
- Implement website improvements based on analytics and business requirements.
Content Management
- Upload and manage content using WordPress or other Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Create landing pages and promotional pages for marketing campaigns.
- Ensure website content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to publish new products, services, and company updates.
Graphic Design
- Design creative graphics for: Website banners, Social media platforms, Digital advertisements, Marketing campaigns, Product promotions Email campaigns Corporate branding materials
- Ensure visual consistency across all digital platforms.
- Edit and optimize images for web use.
Technical Responsibilities
- Maintain website security and implement best practices against vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate with hosting providers when necessary.
- Perform HTML and CSS modifications where required.
- Optimize website responsiveness and loading speed.
- Monitor website uptime and performance metrics.
Digital Marketing Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital campaigns.
- Create web assets for online promotions.
- Support SEO implementation through on-page optimization.
- Track website analytics and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Recommend improvements based on website traffic and user behavior.
Brand Management
- Ensure all website and digital content adheres to company branding standards.
- Maintain consistency in typography, colors, layouts, and messaging.
- Develop creative concepts that enhance the company’s digital presence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in website management.
- Experience managing WordPress or other Content Management Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design for digital platforms.
- Experience maintaining corporate websites.
