About the Role
- We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, tech-savvy Valuations Officer with experience in motor vehicle assessments and
- valuations. The ideal candidate will bring a pipeline of industry relationships, be open to continuous learning, and have a performance-driven mindset to grow our client base while ensuring accurate and timely valuations.
- This role requires a balance of technical expertise, client relationship management, and adoption of digital tools to streamline service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct motor vehicle valuations for pre-insurance, pre-theft, bank loan, pre-accident, and disposal/purchase
purposes.
- Carry out extended warranty valuations to verify vehicle condition prior to cover.
- Handle hybrid and electric vehicle valuations, staying up to date with emerging motor technologies.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of clients, leveraging existing networks and building new relationships with
- insurance firms, banks, and dealerships.
- Prepare accurate and detailed valuation reports within the company’s benchmark service timelines (e.g., Pre
- Insurance Valuations within 24 hours).
- Use digital valuation tools and software to enhance accuracy and efficiency in valuations.
- Work collaboratively with the Business Development and Operations teams to deliver exceptional client service.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and sub-sector developments.
- Ensure compliance with IRA regulations and other relevant automotive industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Insurance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in motor vehicle assessments, valuations, or related roles in the automotive or insurance sector.
- Knowledge of IRA regulations, valuation standards, and the Kenyan automotive industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and valuation-specific software/tools.
