Job Brief
Our Client is seeking a customer-focused and commercially aware Travel & Tours Consultant to deliver seamless business and leisure travel solutions. As the first point of contact, you will provide expert travel advice, manage end-to-end bookings, and ensure high service standards while driving revenue through value-added services.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on destinations, travel options, pricing, regulations, and documentation, tailoring solutions to individual preferences and budgets.
- Plan, book, and manage flight itineraries, accommodation, and related travel services from enquiry to completion.
- Support visa facilitation and provide guidance on health and travel compliance requirements.
- Issue tickets across multiple airlines using GDS platforms in line with industry standards.
- Promote and package outbound tour products while upselling ancillary services such as transfers, insurance, and excursions.
- Manage payments, maintain accurate booking and client records, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Resolve client queries, complaints, and travel disruptions professionally and efficiently.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and prepare operational and sales reports as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Travel Consultant; tour operations and personal travel experience are an added advantage.
- Diploma in Travel & Tourism or a related business field.
- GDS certification (IATA preferred); strong working knowledge of travel booking systems and e-travel platforms (Tourplan is an added advantage).
- Strong destination knowledge (domestic and international) across varied traveler profiles.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage multiple client requirements.
