Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in transport or dispatch operations within FMCG.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely vehicle allocation and availability for all dispatch and depot operations.
- Prepare and submit daily utilization reports and trip comparison reports accurately and on time.
- Monitor and control fuel usage, ensuring proper maintenance of diesel records and system updates.
- Oversee dispatch operations, ensuring all vehicles are verified, compliant, and correctly assigned before loading.
- Ensure adherence to delivery timelines (Modern Trade within 24 hours, General Trade within 48 hours).
- Track and optimize primary and secondary trip utilization to improve efficiency.
- Monitor transport hiring, ensuring cost control and optimal vendor utilization.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure full compliance with SOPs, audit, and regulatory
- Provide timely communication and operational updates to management on performance and requirements
