We are looking for a keen, proactive, and detail-oriented Tracking Officer to join our logistics team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor fleet movement using GPS and tracking systems.
- Ensure vehicles adhere to assigned routes, schedules and delivery timelines.
- Report deviations, delays, or incidents to the operations team in real time
- Liaise with drivers to provide guidance and updates during transit.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly tracking reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, road safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the logistics team with route planning and optimization.
- Assist in incident management and provide timely escalation when required.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fleet tracking and logistics, or transport operations.
- FMS knowledge and experience is crucial.
- Proficiency in GPS tracking systems and MS Office.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, holidays when necessary
