Reports To: Chief Nursing Officer
Job Purpose:
To oversee the daily operations of the theatre department, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical services.
The Theatre Manager is responsible for staffing, compliance, equipment management, scheduling, and optimizing theatre utilization. The role also carries the responsibility of generating revenue by attracting surgical consultants and increasing theatre activity.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related clinical field.
- Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Higher Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Nursing (A must).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a theatre setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of surgical protocols, hospital operations, and inventory management.
