Stocks Accountant Job Kim-Fay

Accounting Jobs, Kim-Fay Jobs. Responsible for maintaining stock and inventory records, reconciling stock balances, monitoring stock movements, investigating discrepancies, preparing inventory reports, and ensuring accurate stock valuation. Requires a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance with at least 3 years’ experience This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi.

They are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Stocks Accountant to oversee inventory accuracy, stock management, and related accounting functions, ensuring efficient stock movement and accurate inventory records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting or a related field.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in stock management.
• Hands-on experience in daily stock cut-off processes, including transfers, invoicing, stock isolation, credit notes and Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
• Demonstrable experience in inventory management, stock reconciliation and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Practical experience in conducting stock counts, monitoring inventory levels and preparing stock reports.
• Strong capability in identifying, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Experience in establishing and implementing inventory control procedures to minimize stock losses and improve stock movement efficiency.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• CPA (K) qualification will be an added advantage.
