Role Overview

Tezza Business Solutions is recruiting a Mid-Level Java Spring Boot Engineer to support backend development within a fast-paced, agile engineering environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior engineers to deliver scalable backend services and API enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
  • Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams
  • Contribute to system improvements and performance optimization

Technical Requirements

  • 3+ years of backend development experience
  • Strong knowledge of Java fundamentals
  • 2+ years of hands-on Spring Boot experience
  • Experience building REST APIs
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
  • Experience writing unit tests (JUnit)
  • Basic understanding of cloud-based deployments

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to microservices architecture
  • Basic understanding of Docker
  • Experience working in agile sprint environments
