Software QA testing software applications to ensure they meet requirements, creating test plans, executing test cases and reporting defects, requiring a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and knowledge of Agile/Scrum, E2E testing and intermediate SQL, in a software development environment, on-site role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guiding and coaching teams to follow Agile methodologies and Scrum processes.
- You will facilitate team meetings, remove impediments, and ensure that the team is delivering high quality products.
- In this role, you will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are free of defects.
- You will create test plans, design, and execute test cases, and report defects to the development team.
- Use SQL to perform queries, joins, and other operations on data, and you will ensure that the data meets the specified requirements.
- Managing test cases and test suites.
Key Competencies / Skills
- Knowledgeable with Agile/Scrum Process
- Good understanding of E2E testing process
- Intermediate SQL skills to perform queries, joins, etc.
- API Testing using tools like Postman would be good (rest/soap)
- Excellent communication, able to speak up :-)
- TestRail – tool we use to document all test cases. Nice to have.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Project Management and Quality Assurance certifications will be added advantage.
