About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Website Developer to develop, maintain, and optimise responsive, high-performance websites in a fast-paced agency environment.
The role will work closely with designers, developers, and project teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional websites and deliver secure, user-friendly digital solutions that meet client and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance websites.
- Convert UI/UX designs into functional, user-friendly websites.
- Develop and customise WordPress websites and themes.
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, and other web solutions.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimise existing websites.
- Ensure websites meet security, SEO, performance, and usability standards.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project teams to deliver projects on time.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years’ professional experience in website development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.
- Experience with MySQL, REST APIs, Git, and website deployment/hosting.
- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and optimisation skills.
- A strong portfolio showcasing websites or web applications developed.
- Experience with React/Next.js, Laravel, AWS/cloud platforms, WooCommerce, and CI/CD will be an added advantage.
