Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Nairobi, Kenya.
As a Technical Product Manager – JaGedo V3, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of product development, from concept to deployment and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to translate user needs into scalable, high-quality solutions. The role requires a strong technical background, enabling you to bridge the gap between product strategy and engineering execution.
Reporting Line:
You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute product strategy for JaGedo V3
- Develop and manage product roadmaps and timelines
- Collaborate with developers to deliver scalable solutions
- Analyze user needs, data, and market trends to inform decisions
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features
- Drive continuous product improvement and innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, BIT, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3–5 years of experience in software engineering or technical product roles
- Strong experience in Technical Product Management / Product Management
- Hands-on understanding of full-stack development
Technical Skills
- Experience with modern frameworks such as:
- React
- Django
- Node.js
- Express.js
Core Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
- Understanding of the construction, infrastructure, or platform-based ecosystem is an added advantage
