Are you a creative digital storyteller with a passion for building engaging online communities? As a leading hospitality group, Pridelnn Hotels, Resorts & Camps is looking for a dynamic Social Media Executive to manage and grow our online presence across multiple platforms. Based at Pridelnn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa, Mombasa, you will play a key role in curating content, driving engagement, monitoring performance, and collaborating with designers to showcase Pridelnn’s unique brand voice to our diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and curating Pridelnn’s social media presence across multiple platforms.
  • Developing content calendars and executing strategies to grow brand visibility and engagement.
  • Creating engaging, shareable content (posts, images, videos) tailored to target audiences.
  • Monitoring analytics, tracking performance, and generating actionable reports.
  • Engaging with followers, responding to comments/messages, and fostering positive interactions.
  • Staying current with social media trends, tools, and algorithm updates.
  • Collaborating with graphic designers to create visually compelling assets.
  • Planning and optimizing paid social media campaigns for maximum reach and ROI.
  • Conducting competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field.
  • 2-3 years’ proven experience managing social media platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in content creation (copywriting, photography/videography, short-form video editing).
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) – an added advantage.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and translate insights into improvements.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
