Site Foreman Job
The Site Foreman shall play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of joinery installation at sites in and out of Nairobi.
Reporting to the Execution Manager, the Supervisor will oversee site operations, manage installation teams, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across all site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Team Coordination
- Lead , coordinate and plan all on-site joinery installation activities.
- Supervise and manage fundis, helpers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and compliance with site and safety protocols.
Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure workmanship meets company and client standards.
- Address and rectify any workmanship or installation issues promptly.
Subcontractor Management
- Oversee the performance of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines, safety procedures, and technical standards.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities with the in-house team.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly site progress reports with photos and relevant updates.
- Maintain a site logbook and track tool issuance, material delivery, and task completion.
- Receives site completion documents on behalf of the client.
Client Interface & Site Conduct
- Represent the company professionally on-site.
- Ensure that only authorized personnel interact with the client and that all introductions are made formally.
- Uphold site security measures and report any incidents or irregularities immediately.
Key Qualifications
- Strong understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Proven experience supervising carpentry or interior fit-out teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of site safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Knowledge in Logistics Management
