What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Install, upgrade, and maintain VTAM, TCP/IP, OSA, and associated products
- Manage SMPE software updates and related automation packages
- Interface with operations teams, logs, and automated jobs to ensure seamless processes
- Maintain and troubleshoot related software and tools
- Execute backup and recovery processes for subsystems
- Define resources, manage security, and perform other administration tasks
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including printers, FTP, SMTP, and SNMP
- Support enterprise-level products such as:
- TCP/IP and associated protocols
- SNA, VTAM, APPN/Enterprise Extender
- Connect:Direct and other file transfer solutions
- Session management tools (TPX, Teleview, CL/Supersession)
- Network management tools (NETVIEW, Netmaster/TCPIP)
- Print servers (VPS)
- Drive GDPS setup and configuration
- Write and maintain REXX scripts for system automation and maintenance

Key Deliverables
- Fully configured and operational VTAM, TCP/IP, OSA, and associated systems
- Updated documentation for all maintenance, configuration, and upgrades
