Senior Security Supervisor Job West Kenya Sugar Kakamega, Kenya
Job Summary
Keeping people, property, and operations safe day-to-day, while making sure the team on the ground executes the security plan set by management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage security shifts, rosters and deployment.
- Supervise security officers and maintain discipline.
- Respond to and investigate incidents.
- Conduct patrols and security inspections.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms and access control systems.
- Maintain occurrence books, reports and security records.
- Enforce security policies and procedures.
- Monitor risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Protect company assets and control movement of materials.
- Coordinate with staff, visitors and external agencies on security matters.
Qualifications
- KCSE and above; Diploma or Degree is an added advantage.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a security supervisory role, law enforcement, NYS or the armed forces.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control and security operations.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to identify and manage security risks.
- High level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
