Job Summary

Keeping people, property, and operations safe day-to-day, while making sure the team on the ground executes the security plan set by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage security shifts, rosters and deployment.
• Supervise security officers and maintain discipline.
• Respond to and investigate incidents.
• Conduct patrols and security inspections.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms and access control systems.
• Maintain occurrence books, reports and security records.
• Enforce security policies and procedures.
• Monitor risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Protect company assets and control movement of materials.
• Coordinate with staff, visitors and external agencies on security matters.

Qualifications

• KCSE and above; Diploma or Degree is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a security supervisory role, law enforcement, NYS or the armed forces.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control and security operations.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to identify and manage security risks.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
