Position Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing the network infrastructure that supports our cutting-edge software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain the organization’s LAN, WAN, and other networking systems.
- Monitor network performance to identify bottlenecks, outages, or other issues that may affect network efficiency.
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure that the network meets or exceeds compliance standards.
- Collaborate with application and cloud teams to support network requirements for new projects and ongoing operations.
- Prepare network documentation, including diagrams, standard operating procedures, and policies.
- Mentor junior network engineers and other team members, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about current network technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree and/or networking certifications like CCNA, CCNP are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in network engineering or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking concepts and services like AWS VPC or Azure Virtual Network.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
