Responsible for teaching and assessing students, developing course materials, conducting research, supervising students, and supporting academic programmes. Requires a relevant postgraduate qualification in the respective discipline, with strong teaching, research skills. The role is based in Meru with duties performed on-site.

Qualifications

  • Earned PhD (or Master in special cases) in Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline from an accredited university.
  • At least 3 years teaching experience at university level as Lecturer OR 6 years research/industry experience.
  • Minimum 24 publication points as Lecturer (at least 12 from refereed scholarly journals).
  • Supervised at least 2 Master’s students to completion as Lecturer OR 1 PhD.
  • Registered member of KMLTTB & current practicing license.
  • Fulfilled Chapter Six of the Constitution.
