Senior DevSecOps Engineer Job

This role is for someone who enjoys sitting right at the intersection of development, security, and operations. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable systems, owning CI/CD pipelines, strengthening cybersecurity controls, and guiding teams on secure coding and best practices.
Beyond the technical work, this is a senior role. You’ll mentor junior engineers, support knowledge transfer across teams, and help align engineering and security practices with broader business goals.

What we’re looking for:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar DevSecOps or Security Operations role
• Strong understanding of systems, servers, and modern programming languages
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Practical experience with cybersecurity frameworks and tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, encryption)
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, AWS) are an added advantage
