Senior Communications Officer Job Isuzu

Isuzu is seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Communications Officer to support the execution of strategic communication initiatives and help strengthen a consistent corporate voice across internal and external platforms. This role is ideal for a professional with strong writing, coordination, media relations and content development skills.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating communication with various stakeholders such as dealers, partners, government institutions as per the Isuzu EA stakeholder engagement matrix.
- Supporting the execution of communication plans and maintaining content calendars across internal, digital and media channels.
- Developing clear business messaging, including speeches, presentations and leadership communication materials.
- Preparing communication materials for product launches, corporate events and Isuzu EA Foundation initiatives.
- Supporting brand visibility, public relations campaigns and reputation management activities.
- Assisting with crisis communication, including issue response coordination and media sentiment monitoring.
- Managing media relations, including press materials, journalist engagement and event publicity.
- Developing internal communication content to support employee engagement, change initiatives and policy updates.
- Tracking communication effectiveness through reports, feedback, surveys and media analysis.
- Administering communication platforms, oversee material production, monitor KPIs and support budget tracking.
- Performing any other communication related duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Business Management.
- Strong command of desktop publishing tools and AI-powered presentation & design applications.
- KCSE mean grade B+.
- Five (5) years’ relevant experience in brand building, media relations and event planning.
