Role Purpose
The Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing integrated social media strategies, influencer marketing campaigns, and content management to deliver measurable growth and results for client brands. This role combines strategic oversight of social media channels, managing influencer partnerships, content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking to ensure each client’s brand is presented effectively and consistently across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy Development
- Strategic Planning: Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive social media strategies for each client. Tailor strategies to address specific client goals including brand awareness, audience engagement, customer retention, lead generation, and conversions.
- Campaign Design: Design and implement monthly/quarterly social media campaigns aligned with clients’ business objectives. Ensure strategies incorporate influencer marketing, organic posts, and user-generated content.
- Client Briefing & Reporting: Work closely with clients to fully understand their brand, goals, and target audience. Present social media strategies, campaigns, and performance indicators (KPIs) to clients for approval, adjusting strategies based on feedback.
- Content Calendars: Oversee the creation and maintenance of content calendars for clients, ensuring all content is planned, executed, and tracked on time. Deliver content schedules at least two weeks in advance, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.

2. Influencer Marketing & Partnerships
- Influencer Identification: Research, identify, and recruit influencers who align with each client’s brand values, audience demographics, and objectives. Build a diverse roster of influencers across various sectors such as fashion, beauty, tech, lifestyle, and fitness.
- Outreach & Collaboration: Conduct outreach to potential influencers for collaboration opportunities. Build relationships and secure partnerships that reflect the client’s target market and campaign goals.
- Contract Negotiation & Management: Negotiate influencer fees, deliverables, timelines, and expectations. Draft and manage contracts ensuring compliance with legal, contractual, and company policies.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee influencer campaigns ensuring all deliverables (e.g., posts, stories, videos) are executed according to plan. Ensure that influencers adhere to agreed-upon content guidelines, tone, and messaging.
- Ongoing Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with influencers to foster loyalty and ongoing partnerships. Provide guidance and support to influencers, ensuring smooth communication and satisfaction throughout collaborations.

3. Content Creation & Community Management
- Content Creation Oversight: Ensure that all content is relevant, engaging, and aligns with client objectives. Oversee content creation, including visual assets, copy, and multimedia. Collaborate with multimedia to deliver high-quality content.
- Scheduling & Publishing: Manage the scheduling and publishing of content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring content is posted at optimal times for engagement.
- Engagement Management: Actively manage community engagement on social media channels by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Foster positive community relationships, address customer inquiries, and maintain a consistent voice for the brand.
- Crisis Management: Address any negative comments, reviews, or brand criticisms in a timely and professional manner. Implement appropriate strategies to manage the reputation and protect the brand’s image online.
4. Performance Monitoring, Reporting & Analytics
- Tracking Key Metrics: Track and report on the performance of both influencer campaigns and organic social media content. Key metrics include reach, impressions, engagement (likes, comments, shares), click-through rates, and conversions.
- Client Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed performance reports, providing actionable insights, trends, and areas for improvement. Ensure monthly reports are ready by the 5th of every month and quarterly reports by the first week of each quarter.
- Optimization: Analyze campaign performance regularly, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize strategies. Continuously refine content, targeting, and influencer selection to improve results.
- ROI & Budget Management: Manage the budgets allocated for influencer campaigns and social media activities, ensuring campaigns deliver maximum return on investment (ROI).
5. Client & Relationship Management
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding influencer marketing and social media campaigns. Ensure transparent and consistent communication, updating clients on campaign progress, results, and any necessary adjustments.
- Client Presentations & Meetings: Regularly present campaign performance, new influencer opportunities, and social media strategies to clients. Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction with all services provided.
- Feedback & Adjustments: Solicit feedback from clients, ensuring that all content, influencer partnerships, and social media strategies align with their evolving needs and expectations.
6. Process Management
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve internal processes and systems to maximize productivity and ensure smooth execution of all social media and

7. Trend Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Industry Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest digital marketing, influencer marketing, and social media trends. Adapt strategies to incorporate new tools, features, and platforms as they emerge.
- Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitors’ social media and influencer marketing campaigns to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
- Innovation: Drive creative and innovative campaigns that engage audiences and bring fresh ideas to the table for every client.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, ideally within a digital agency setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing influencer partnerships and social media accounts for brands.
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and performance metrics.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and lead a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally to clients.
- Ability to handle multiple client accounts and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
