General Description

Perform all the duties and responsibility pertaining Accounts as detailed in the Balance Score scope, while ensuring compliance to the companies Quality Management system – ISO 9001-2015.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing smooth operations of Finance department.
• Prepare budgets
• Monitors actual performance against budgets
• Management and coordination of the inter-company accounts
• Review and sign off expense claims
• Payment of all creditor accounts on a timely basis
• Facilitate external audit
• Management of weekly and monthly cash and cash flow process by keeping all the
• finance/accounts books up to date
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Prepare periodic financial reports and statements
• Monthly accounts analysis
• Mpesa payment approvals & reconciliation.
• Ensure Taxes payment & regulation compliance.
• Payroll preparation and payments.
• Overseeing Fuel sign-off.
• Funds Investment Recommendation.
• Provide financial assistance in tender requirements
• Reconciliation of various Balance sheet accounts
• Ensuring all accounting activities as specified in the monthly activity log are completed and signed off.
• Reviewing field advances taken by employees and ensure that Broadcom policies regarding these advances are adhered to and that all monies are accounted
• Cash management by tracking daily inflows and outflows
• Approving the purchase orders
• Checking and approving all the payment vouchers
• Follow up the payments from our customers
• Marking the monthly balance scorecards for the finance staff
• Ensure practices and principles of Quality management system are followed as documented in the QMS
• Performing any other related duties as may be assigned

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• Degree / Diploma in Finance, Economics, Business commerce or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Level K
• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – Finalist
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) – B+ minimum grade
• 5 years’ experience in a Managerial accounts position
