RPA Tester Job The Jitu
Job Overview
The RPA Testers will be responsible for reviewing UiPath requirements and documentation, executing and monitoring bots, automating testcases using UiPath test manager, and validating that automations are reliable, accurate, and aligned with business requirements. They will also perform QA activities, including test planning, test execution, regression testing, defect management, and quality validation.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze UiPath requirements, process documentation, and automation specifications to understand expected functionality and business requirements.
- Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios to validate RPA workflows, including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Design and automate test cases using UiPath Test Manager and other relevant testing tools.
- Execute, monitor, and validate automated processes to ensure bots perform as expected across different scenarios and environments.
- Validate the accuracy, reliability, performance, and stability of RPA solutions against defined business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects and exceptions, working closely with RPA developers and business stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Validate test results, investigate failures, and provide clear documentation and reports on test coverage, defects, and overall automation quality.
- Collaborate with RPA developers, business analysts, and process owners to clarify requirements and ensure automation solutions meet business needs and quality standards
Key Competencies
- Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing methodologies, and software testing best practices.
- Ability to review requirements, identify gaps and risks, and develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Good understanding of RPA concepts and UiPath; experience with UiPath Test Manager is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and raise potential issues early.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.
