Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of QI projects related to infection prevention and control (IPC), hand hygiene, blood culture contamination, and infectious disease documentation
• Coach clinical, IPC, AMS, and laboratory teams on quality improvement methods and support
  intervention planning, implementation, and outcome measurement
• Facilitate collaborative learning sessions, workshops, and continuous improvement activities
• Document and report on quality improvement progress, lessons learned, and recommendations
• Collect and analyze data on antimicrobial use and resistance patterns
• Support the development and revision of hospital antibiograms and local treatment guidelines
• Provide feedback and promote rational antibiotic use through clinical engagement and education
• Collect clinical and laboratory data from patient records using standard

Qualifications and skills    

• Degree or Diploma in a health-related field (e.g. Nursing, medicine, clinical medicine, pharmacy, etc)
• Experience with Quality improvement, Infection prevention and control, Antimicrobial resistance or healthcare surveillance preferred
• Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and electronic data entry systems (e.g. Red Cap)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic statistical tools
• Strong communication, teamwork, training and organizational abilities
