Role Overview
The Research & Development Executive plays a key role in driving product innovation, optimization, and consistency across Ma Cuisine’s portfolio. The role supports new product development (NPD), conducts product trials and testing, ensures compliance with food safety standards, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Design and execute product trials using new ingredients, recipes, and methods to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct shelf life studies, stress tests, sensory evaluations, and laboratory analyses.
- Benchmark products against competitors and support root cause analysis where product challenges arise.
- Validate new suppliers and alternative raw materials to ensure product consistency and supply continuity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of trials, specifications, SOPs, and compliance records in line with FSSC 22000 requirements.
- Uphold food safety standards and champion compliance within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree an added advantage).
- Minimum of 3 years’ laboratory experience.
- Experience in FMCG, preferably within a dairy or food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of FSSC 22000 or other food safety management systems is an added advantage.
