Job Description: Relationship Officer – Microfinance Job
Location: Mwea, Makutano, Machakos, Mumias
SALARY: 25,000 KSH
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Market and promote the institution’s loan products to potential clients.
- Assess and evaluate loan applications to ensure creditworthiness and compliance with lending policies.
- Conduct site visits to verify business operations and assess risks before loan disbursement.
- Ensure timely loan disbursement and monitor loan repayments to minimize default rates.
- Conduct due diligence on loan applicants to minimize financial risk.

Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or sales-related roles.
- Should know how to ride a motorbike ( added advantage)
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment and loan portfolio management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
