Registered Nurse I Job KMTC
Medical Jobs, KMTC Jobs. Registered Nurse I provides patient care, clinical support, and health education, requires a Nursing Diploma or Degree and NCK registration. Full-time role in Nairobi.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning and implementing nursing interventions;
- Evaluating patient outcomes;
- Providing healthcare education and counselling to patients/clients on identified health needs;
- Referring patients and clients appropriately;
- Facilitating patients’ admission and initiating discharge plans;
- documenting and maintaining relevant records;
- Preparing periodic reports;
- Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment; and
- Collecting and compiling data related to nursing services.
Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Nursing (KRN) or Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN); Kenya registered midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing / Mental Health and Psychiatric or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution;
- Been registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya;
- Valid practicing licence from the Nursing Council; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
