About the role

Kenchic PLC is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our Quality Assurance Department. Reporting to the Assistant Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for all quality assurance programs, conformance checks and inspection of ingredients, raw materials, packaging materials, in-process and finished products. This will be done through having a thorough understanding of product and process knowledge, and in compliance with established quality and food safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality and food safety requirements across receiving, production, storage, and dispatch.
• Ensure accurate documentation, traceability, and timely reporting of product quality and process deviations.
• Ensure daily monitoring, validation and verification of quality control on-line checks and laboratory records; including QAPs, CCP, O-PRP, PRP and GMP monitoring, validation and verification.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports on product, process and equipment for review by Quality Assurance Manager.
• Investigate product nonconformities, customer complaints, and support root cause analysis with timely corrective actions.
• Collect, analyze & compile statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system and recommend corrective and preventive actions to the Quality Assurance and Systems Manager.
• Participate in new product development, including testing, reporting, and specification development.
• Conduct internal audits, monitor GMP and hygiene compliance, and ensure sanitation schedules are met.
• Manage QA programs, schedules, records, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct food safety and quality training to respective teams with the aim of driving sustainable quality and food safety culture and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Working Knowledge in FSSC 22000, Quality Management systems, and HACCP Principles.
• At least 2 years of experience in FMCG industry.
• Solid experience in effective use of data analysis tools and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.
• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of quality assurance.
• Good communication and Problem-solving skills.
