Project Manageement Jobs, Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) Jobs. Programme Officer coordinates project implementation, monitors progress, prepares reports, and liaises with stakeholders, requires a Social Sciences or Project Management Degree.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Economics & Statistics, Planning and Project Management, Political Science/Government, Political Science, Public Administration or Law from a university recognized in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is an entry and training grade for officers in the social or public service sector. An officer at this level maybe deployed in any of the following:

• Social Sector
• Public Service Sector

At Social Sector
The duties and responsibilities at this level will include: –

• undertaking research for resource mobilization;
• collecting and analyzing data on social sector reforms;
• collecting and collating data for Special Government Initiatives;
•  preparing data collection tools for tracking the institutionalization of Special Government Initiatives in public sector institutions.

At Public Service Sector
The duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

• collecting, collating and compiling data on the implementation of Public Sector Reforms;
•  collecting data for Business Process Re-engineering (BPR);
• undertaking training and capacity-building for MDAs implementing Public Sector Reforms;
• collecting and collating data on thematic areas on innovation and incubation of public sector reforms;
• collecting data on for technical advice to support MDAs on Public Sector Reforms; and
• updating in information in the Central Database for public sector reforms.
