Professor /Lecturer — Computer Science / IT at Umma University
Faculty Positions (Lecturer to Professor) – Computer Science / IT at Umma University Teaches courses, conducts research, and mentors students in Computer Science and IT. Requires relevant Master’s/PhD in CS/IT, university teaching experience, rank-appropriate publications, and CUE alignment. Full-time.
Job Purpose
The Lecturer is responsible for delivering teaching and learning activities, conducting research, and contributing to academic program development within the Computer Science / IT subject area. The position supports curriculum delivery, student supervision, and scholarly research activities, providing quality teaching and supporting student academic development.
Qualifications Academic Qualifications
- PhD in a related discipline from a recognized university, in line with the Lecturer (UU16)requirement
OR
- A relevant Master’s degree registered for PhD be considered in accordance
Professional Qualifications / Membership
- Membership in relevant professional and academic bodies is an added advantage.
Relevant Work Experience
- 3 years’ university teaching or research experience is an added advantage, with evidence of research publications or academic research potential.
