Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Commerce, or related field
- Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 10+ years’ procurement experience in manufacturing/packaging or related sector
- At least 5 years in a procurement leadership role
- Strong experience in imports, freight handling, customs procedures, and Incoterms
- Proven track record in cost savings, supplier negotiations, and category management
- Strong ERP (purchase module) and data-driven decision-making capability
- Excellent stakeholder management across production, planning, quality, and finance
- High integrity and adherence to procurement governance standards

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategy for raw materials, packaging substrates, consumables, and indirect spend
- Manage full procurement cycle: sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, POs, supplier onboarding, and performance management
- Lead import operations including overseas sourcing, Incoterms, freight coordination, customs clearance, and documentation control
- Optimize inventory levels (safety stock, reorder points, EOQ) in coordination with production & planning
- Drive cost-saving initiatives, total landed cost analysis, and supplier consolidation strategies
- Monitor supplier KPIs on quality, lead time, and on-time delivery
- Implement procurement governance, compliance controls, and supplier audits
- Lead and develop the procurement team, set KPIs, and build capability
- Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, payments, and working capital management
- Drive ERP utilization for PO control, supplier master data, and procurement reporting
