Makini Schools is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal. The Principal will oversee the teaching staff, ensuring adherence to the school’s daily routine and upholding a high standard of discipline. Responsibilities encompass key aspects of school structure, educational frameworks, staffing, resources, curriculum assessment, student-centred teaching, and the learning environment. Based at the Statehouse Campus, the incumbent will be an integral part of the school’s leadership team, providing academic and technical services, pedagogical and curriculum expertise to enhance teaching and learning, and support overall school administration.

Qualifications

• A Minimum of a Bachelor of Education degree from a recognized University
• Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience and continuous teaching experience in the field, minimum 3 years’ experience as a Principal/ Deputy Principal or in any relevant school leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the CBE Curriculum.
