Role Overview
Moringa manages and analyzes data across multiple platforms, including Salesforce, Canvas LMS, Formstack, and HubSpot. To strengthen decision-making across the organization, Moringa seeks a short-term Data Consultant to improve data quality, streamline reporting processes, and build dashboards that clearly track key performance metrics across departments.
The Short-Term Data Consultant will lead efforts to clean, structure, and integrate data from various systems, and develop intuitive, real-time dashboards for leadership and operational teams. This role requires close collaboration with Marketing, Admissions, Learning, Finance, and the Tech team to ensure the organization has reliable, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
Improve Data Quality & Integrity
- Audit and clean data within Salesforce, Canvas LMS, HubSpot, and Formstack.
- Identify and resolve duplicates, incomplete fields, and inconsistent records.
- Establish standardized data entry, verification, and maintenance procedures.
Develop Reporting & Dashboards
- Build dynamic, insightful dashboards using Salesforce Reports, Power BI, Plotly Dash, or similar tools.
- Enable real-time visibility into KPIs such as:
- Enrollment and student performance
- Marketing funnel efficiency
- Sales conversion rates
- Operational and financial metrics
- Create departmental and executive dashboard views.
Integrate & Streamline Data Sources
- Align data structures across systems to ensure seamless reporting.
- Develop a unified reporting layer that consolidates insights across tools.
- Recommend and implement automation for data updates where possible.
Soft Skills & Behaviors
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience documenting processes for future scalability.
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience managing and cleaning Salesforce data.
- Working knowledge of Canvas LMS, HubSpot, and Formstack.
- Proficiency in dashboard tools such as Power BI, Plotly Dash, or Salesforce reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of CRM data governance, data architecture, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build user-friendly, insight-rich dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
