Pharmaceutical Technologist III Job Nyamira CPSB

Medical Jobs, Nyamira County Public Service Board Jobs. Responsible for receiving and processing prescriptions, dispensing medicines, counselling patients, preparing medication labels, maintaining drug records, and conducting stock-taking of medicines. Requires a Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology, registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, and a valid practising licence. The position is based in Nyamira and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

• Be a holder of a Diploma in pharmacy from KMTC or any institution recognized in Kenya
• Be registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• Certificate in Computer Application skills from a recognized institution

Key Responsibilities

• Giving expert opinion on management of patients in the outpatient department using current guidelines and protocols.
• Giving expert opinion on management of patients in the inpatient department using current guidelines and protocols.
• Timely submission of reports as may be required.
• Participating in supply chain management.
• Giving continuous medical education on a regular basis.
• Undertake requisite professional development activities.
• Performing any other duties delegated by your respective supervisor.
