Petroleum Environment Analyst II Job PSCK

Health & Safety Jobs, Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) Jobs. Petroleum Environmental Analyst II monitors oil/gas operations for environmental compliance, assesses impact studies, and conducts audits, requires an Environmental Science or Engineering Degree.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Environmental Geology, Environmental and Natural Resources Management, Climate Change, Occupational Health & Safety, Soil Water & Environmental Engineering, Environmental Chemistry or Environmental Planning Management & Policy from a university recognized in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: –

• collecting and compiling environmental, health and safety data related to oil and gas;
• updating and maintaining geospatial databases for environmental monitoring in oil and gas areas;
• participating in environmental, health and safety audits for petroleum operations; and
• participating in report preparation on oil and gas health safety and environment matters;
• participating in promotion of public awareness on petroleum-related environmental and safety issues;
