Audit Jobs, Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) Jobs. Petroleum Audit And Risk Analyst II conducts risk assessments of petroleum operations, audits contracts, and ensures compliance, requires an Accounting/Finance Degree and CPA/CIA certification.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

• a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce (Accounting option or Finance option), Business Administration (Accounting option), Accounting & Finance or Economics & Finance from a university recognized in Kenya; and
•  Part III of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination or Part III of the Association for Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; 

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: –

• collecting and analyzing information required for petroleum audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews;
• assisting in the review of Work Programs and Budgets, Field Development Plans and other petroleum proposals;
• monitoring compliance with petroleum agreements, Government approvals, statutory payments, guarantees and other obligations.
• participating in examination of upstream petroleum operations books of account;
• participating in verifying accounting entries, material records and inventories, vouchers, invoices and any other documents, correspondences and upstream records;
•  participating in inspection of plants, facilities and warehouses of petroleum operations;
