Orthopedic Trauma Assistant III Job KMTC
Medical Jobs, KMTC Jobs. Orthopedic Trauma Assistant III assists clinicians with cast application, traction, and patient immobilization, requires an Orthopedic Trauma Certificate. Full-time role in Nairobi.
Responsibilities
- Conducting closed manipulative reduction of fractures and dislocation of joints in Musculo-skeletal system;
- Providing corrective treatment of orthopaedic and trauma conditions;
- Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocations;
- Fixing and removing casts, bandages and tractions devices for patients;
- Managing congenital talipes equino-varus;
- Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting in orthopaedic trauma;
- Documenting orthopaedic and trauma cases; and
- Assessing and referring patients in Musculo-skeletal system.
Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Diploma in orthopedic Trauma Medicine or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
- Been registered with the relevant professional body; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
