Medical Jobs. Nyeri CPSB Jobs. Orthopaedic Technologist III fabricating and fitting orthotic and prosthetic devices for patient rehabilitation, requiring an Orthopaedic Technology Diploma and 1+ years experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocations;
• Fixing and removing casts, bandages and tractions to and from patients;
• Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V.);
• Counseling patients/clients on issues regarding orthopaedic trauma;
• Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopaedic trauma;
• Documenting orthopaedic and trauma case;
• Assessing and referring patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
• Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements for Appointment
A candidate must have: –

• Be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
• KCPE and KCSE Certificate (Attach evidence)
• Diploma in Orthopedic Plaster Technology from a recognized institution; and
• At least one (1 )year experience (Attach evidence)
