Operator – Logistics Planning & Documentation Job AGL

AGL is hiring an Operator – Logistics Planning & Documentation to coordinate logistics activities and ensure smooth movement of goods. The role is based in Nairobi and experience in transport coordination is required.

Key Responsibilities

Stocking Role

• TALO/ CFAO Chassis upload
• TALO/ CFAO and SAP PO creation, goods receipt and invoice processing

Monthly Stock Take

• TALO/ CFAO stocks audit before stock take
• TALO/CFAO reconciliation after stock take

Customs Duty payments i.e. Tax payments processing

• Validation of customs agent declarations
• Preparation of payment request i.e. entry, evidence of validation, cover sheet with breakdown of costs (Duty, excise, VAT as per Finance format)
• Preparation of Citi direct upload files

Invoice Processing

• Receiving invoices i.e. port, ex-warehouse, warehouse, accessory and transport invoices including ANT invoices
• Verification and processing invoices for approval based on the tariff cards or LPO in case of accessories with supporting documents
• Preparation of ANT invoicing statistics and drafts to ensure accurate monthly invoicing for all services rendered within the month.

Logistics planning and tracking

• Alignment of the logistics planning in line with CFAO Sales and Operations processes.
• Tracking inventory under intermediate movements i.e. vehicle units at accessory suppliers and demonstration units based on CFAO LPOs and instructions.
• Tracking inventory under intermediate movements using the ANT Yard management system and based on CFAO

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Commerce
• or related field.
• 3 yrs in C & F
