Purpose of the Job

To support the Branch Manager in implementing marketing strategies of the organization at the branch or marketing office level

Duties and Responsibilities

Operational Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement all marketing and business growth strategies
• In charge of the marketing office, marketing office staff and daily operations iii. Coordinate the office operations to ensure efficiency in Treasury Management, impress claims and cost cutting measures
• Sell and market all Sacco products
• Coach, train and supervise the Micro Credit Officers to ensure targets are met
• Prepare office marketing programs and ensure effective implementation of the same
• Weekly reporting of all Micro Credit Officers.
• Prospect for new business
• Prepare presentations for prospective customers
• Recruit new members and stations to the Sacco
• Collection of competitor’s intelligence and reporting of the same to Branch Manager
• Keep in safe custody all marketing materials i.e. brochures, banners, tapes etc.
• Preparation of monthly business report for the area
• Participate in trade fairs, marketing promotions, road shows and any other publicity campaign as may be assigned and providing reports on the same.
• Liaison office in charge of ensuring that information is disseminated to members on time
• Carry out customer survey and ensure customer service is up to the standard
• Member education – Pass Sacco information to the customers on any new policies that may be implemented
• Visit clients to get complaints/comments and handling complaints at the field level
• Assist Marketing Officer in executing his/her mandate
• Facilitate and follow up on farmers and member’s change of pay point from various stations.
• Assist the branch team with solving customer issues from various stations
• Loan analysis, appraisal and recovery
• Coach, train and supervise the Cashiers/Tellers
• Supervise the management of Group accounts or organized
• Proactively resolve issues that come to your attention from members

Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Job Specifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field
• Minimum CPA/CCP Part 2

• Minimum Experience Required Minimum 3 years progressive experience in similar role
