KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Order Tracking: Ensure timely tracking and reporting of product orders to ensure availability across retail locations.
- Product Visibility: Ensure optimal product display and positioning to maximize visibility and brand impact.
- Category Share of Shelf: Monitor and enhance share of shelf against competitors by analyzing category space utilization.
- Stock Management: Coordinate with field teams and supply chain to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Space Acquisition: Lead negotiations and strategic planning for additional retail space to increase product exposure.
- POS/POP Placement: Oversee the installation and maintenance of Point of Sale (POS) and Point of Purchase (POP) materials according to campaign schedules.
- Pricing Accuracy: Ensure all products are tagged with correct pricing and aligned with promotional activities.
- Competition Monitoring: Track competitor activities, promotions, and placements, and provide actionable insights to the marketing and sales teams.
- Any other duty that may be assigned.
JOB PURPOSE:
The holder of this position will be responsible for visibility, availability and the influence of sales at their outlets.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A diploma or a 1-year certificate in any field
- 1 year experience working as a merchandiser / Brand Ambassador / Sales
- Language proficiency in English and Swahili
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High convincing power
- Time and discipline management
- Have a flexible and available work schedule
- Strong team player with ability to work independently
- Great international skills
