Job Purpose

The Medical Social Workers will be responsible for provision of support services to curative/hospital based, primary, preventive and promotive programs and activities for patients, families and community. Provision of psychosocial rehabilitation. Home based care and placement of patients at JOOTRH.

Duration: One (1) year Contract

Person Specifications

• Diploma in any of the following fields: Medical Social Work, Social Work, Sociology, Mental Health or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Registration with Kenya Medical Social Workers Association (renewed every 2 years);
• Membership to a relevant professional body and in good standing where applicable
• Proficiency in computer applications.
